Church Planter Interest Meeting
Two Day Church Planter Training Events
Recently, we have made some exciting changes in our department. Due to growth and progress, the former USA Missions department has become two separate entities. Church of God church planting will now be known as the Church Planting Network, lead by Mitchell Maloney. The Church Planting Network is focused completely on the engagement, development, and support of church planters. We will still be in partnership with the Church Plant Bank Fund.
Church revitalization progress will now be made through the Office of Church Health and Revitalization. Mitch Corder was appointed as director for this department and will continue the Church of God’s dedication to local church development, growth, leadership training, and coaching.
Who We Are
The Church Planting Network is an initiative of the Church of God World Evangelization Division in Cleveland, TN. Current CPN Director, Mitch Maloney, was a church planter himself in the city of Detroit, and later went on to pastor the North Cleveland COG for 23 years. His heart is to develop strong, healthy, thriving churches through church planting and revitalization efforts.
Why We Exist
We believe that healthy churches and ministries begin with healthy leaders who find their identity in the Gospel of Jesus and are dependent on the Spirit of God. Our aim is to be a catalyst for leaders and churches to better reach their communities with the good news of the Gospel through a process of assessing, coaching, training, and sending church planters into unreached communities.
How You Can Get Involved
If you are an existing church or individual that shares our passion and desire for planting and developing churches and would like to see how you can get involved, we would love to connect and see how we can partner together for the Kingdom of God.
The Church of God is committed to creating and resourcing partnerships with local churches in the following ways…
